The disruptiveOps product suite provides opportunities for improvement auto-identified from our patent-pending Waste, Opportunity, and Risk Engine (WORE) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The intent of each opportunity is provide enough information to understand the value you can achieve as well as its potential risk, severity, scope, and impact to implement.
The Good – Better – Best Model
In cases where there is more than one way to gain improvement, we utilize the Good – Better – Best model so you will be empowered with options that vary in risk and time to implement the change.
Classic Example; Manual Activities In a Delivery Pipeline
Good | Investigate duration to complete this manual activity to determine how it can be reduced |
Better | Investigate how to automate this manual activity |
Best | Determine if this manual activity actually adds value and eliminate it if not |
Know Financial Impacts
Customers associating hourly costs to people or roles (e.g. Joey Baggo Donuts or Junior Software Engineer) will be able to report out the financial impact of each change in real-time. Knowing the financial impacts should be factored into planning decisions.
Take the Opportunity to Mitigate Risks
Another cool feature of our products is that for every auto-identified risks, an opportunity to mitigate it is also auto-created. Having this 1-to-1 relationship provides immediate opportunity to not only improve how you work but reduce your risk posture at the same time too.
Lastly, since risks and opportunities are “linked”, every time you implement an opportunity it auto-magically updates the risks or closes it. This automated approach reduces your administrative burden and prevents your team from mistakenly working a risk that has already been mitigated.
Get Lean by Reducing Your Waste
Similar to how we auto-create an opportunity for each risk, we do the same for each auto-identified wasteful activity. Because we use the Good – Better – Best model, you have the ability to identify which opportunity is best for your teams at this time.
Also, like the risk-opportunity linkage, our products will auto-magically close or update the waste after its corresponding opportunity is implemented. This automated approach reduces your administrative burden and prevents your team from mistakenly working to reduce waste when it already has been.
Plan Your Improvements
Our product suite has an easy to use task management capability so you can plan opportunities for improvement. Should you want to plan other improvements, we also allow you to dynamically create them. To keep it easy, we use a simplistic workflow.
Plan Your Improvements Outside of Our Products
While our task management capability works for us it may not be ideal for how you work. Well, if this is you no problem as we have you covered there too. Each opportunity, you have the ability to include a hyperlink to your current Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool like VersionOne, Jira, Planview, Rally / Agile Central, Azure DevOps Server (formerly Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)), etc.
If you do not want to link each opportunity for improvement task to your ALM we again have you covered. Simply, export the tasks to a text file (CSV) and import them into your ALM.
